Serco has operated and maintained the DLR since April 1997, working in partnership with Docklands Light Railway Ltd under franchise. In our first 12 years, Serco increased reliability from 91 per cent to our highest ever level of 98.9 per cent, passenger numbers have grown to over 66 million a year (growth increasing by an average of 8 per cent per year) and our Customer Satisfaction rating has reached 97.5 per cent.
We strive for 100 per cent on all our targets and are proud to be delivering one of the best light-rail systems in the world for London’s passengers.
