After lunch, get the DLR to West India Quay and explore Docklands' past and present with the Museum of London Docklands - where kids go free! From Roman settlement to Docklands’ regeneration, this former sugar warehouse reveals the long history of London as a port through stories of trade, migration and commerce. There are regular activities for children of different ages at the Mudlark gallery from storytelling to family activity trails.

There’s plenty to keep kids entertained at this iconic
palace. Fuel your child’s imagination with the gory stories as told by a Yeoman
Warder at the Tower of London. You can explore the Tower using the Knights
and Princesses trail with free badges and pencils available at the Welcome
Centre.
Then hop on the DLR to Mudchute and visit popular

Start your day at Tower Gateway DLR.
Begin a day of wonder at the Tower of London where the crown
jewels are guarded by Beefeaters and ravens. Have your picture taken with a
Yeoman warden before walking across Tower
Bridge and looking west towards HMS Belfast and Big Ben.
Take the DLR east and look out for Hawksmoore churches,
the O2 and the renovated docks as you travel to and alight at Canary Wharf. Don’t forget to marvel at

skyline with its towering skyscrapers and beautiful public gardens!
Experience standing at the beginning of time at the Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory before
continuing your journey. Explore the Old Royal Naval College,
the great baroque masterpiece of English architecture, set in landscaped
grounds on the River Thames in the centre of the Maritime Greenwich World
Heritage Site.
Venture aboard and beneath Cutty Sark – one of the world’s most famous ships. Walk along the decks in the footsteps of the merchant seamen who sailed her more than a century ago and explore the hold where precious cargo was stored on those epic voyages.
Next stop is the Thames
Barrier Park, the green symbol of East London's
regeneration. There are spectacular views across the Thames
and the Flood Barrier, which stretches 500 metres across the river. This
contemporary urban space also features the Green Dock sunken garden, a 32 jet

Complete your day with a ride across the Thames in UK’s first
urban cable car, the Emirates Air Line,

Start your day at Cutty Sark DLR for Maritime Greenwich
with a stroll in Greenwich Park, the
oldest Royal Park home to Fallow and Red deer. Feed and quack at the ducks or
play on the rowing lake and enjoy the sweeping views across the River Thames.
A quick stop away at Island Gardens DLR and Island Gardens
Park
offers a gorgeous place to relax with breathtaking views. Make sure you pack
your picnic basket as the three acres of waterfront parkland are a delight to

Next, take the DLR to Mudchute Park & Farm, with over 13 hectares you can enjoy
horse-riding or play with goats, sheep, pigs, horses, cows, ducks and even a
llama. This wilderness of flora and fauna is home to the biggest inner-city
farm in Europe
and the equestrian centre offers horse riding lessons for all ages and levels.
