Restaurants and cafes
There’s no shortage of fantastic restaurants and cafes in
Canary Wharf, catering for all tastes and occasions from a
family meal with the kids to fast food in between meetings or a long
lunch with friends. Canary Wharf has a rich selection of
excellent restaurants: including the famous Jamie’s
Italian, infused with Jamie Oliver's enthusiastic take on the
diversity of Italian food and culture.
Here's what Jamie said after opening the Canary Wharf Jamie's
Italian:
"Jamie's Italian No.5 opened in Canary Wharf on August 3rd;
a stunning 200 seater restaurant complete with funky antique
chandeliers, a spit roast and a big outside terrace. From day one, this
location has been a challenge for us as the "neighbourhood" here is
quite unique! We're used to being busy and our menu is geared for
speed. Plus, we've combined a kitchen full of the best chefs with
cutting edge technology and some smart ideas to ensure that no dish
takes longer than 10 minutes to cook. But the response to our opening
has been huge - at lunchtimes, evenings and weekends - with the
restaurant serving between four and five thousand covers each week and
showing no sign of slowing down!"
Canary Wharf is now officially the busiest Jamie's Italian,
breaking the record for sales in their third week!
Roka is Canary Wharf’s premier Japanese
restaurant, serving contemporary ‘robatayaki’ (open charcoal grill)
food prepared and cooked in front of diners, all within the striking
surroundings of Roka’s intriguing interior design.
Or why not try the Argentine-flavoured Gaucho chain,
offering the finest ingredients and recipes for an authentic South
American-themed dining experience. Gaucho Canary Wharf
boasts fantastic riverside views from their extensive summer terracing.
