DLR Community Ambassadors are on hand to help you use your railway. The Ambassadors work in your community to help you get around on the DLR. They are fluent in a variety of languages: Bengali, Yoruba, Urhobo, Hindi, Urdu, Sylheti, to name a few.

Using these skills they:

• Give you free training on fares and ticketing, showing you how to use the ticket vending machines and talk you through Oyster.
• Can take you out on a DLR Accessibility Trip to show you how to use the railway. This is useful for those passengers that use a wheelchair, scooter, walking stick and buggies. Your Ambassador will show you how easy it is to travel on DLR trains.
• Hold Open Days at your local supermarket or community centre where you can approach them for DLR information and travel advice.

Venue & Events

Free to use and full of lots of free services too, it will help you find your local community and advice centres, children services, educational advice and institutions plus health and wellbeing services.
