DLR Travel Maps for the London 2012 Games
To keep services running as smoothly as possible during the London 2012 Games, we will have staff at 25 stations and there will be changes to the way some of our stations operate. These changes may affect your usual journey, so please take this into consideration when planning your travel. Whilst all stations may be busier than usual, there are a number which have been identified as travel hotspots.

Olympic Travel Map
Bank:
Expected to be exceptionally busy throughout morning and evening peak times and may be changed to exit only at these times to help ease overcrowding.
Access to DLR platforms from the Northern Line & street will be via Monument.
At busy times passengers may have to interchange at street level.
Tower Gateway:
Platform 1 will be boarding only with platform 2 for alighting only.
Entry will be via the main station entrance only.
Mansell Street will be exit only.
Shadwell:
Station will be exit only, with entry only via the stairs at the eastern end of the station.
Limehouse:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
WestFerry:
Passengers are advised to interchange here should they need to change trains.
Station operates as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
Poplar:
This station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
Bow Church:
Queues are expected on 30 July (AM peak) due to events and passengers travelling to Greenwich.
Additional staff will be on site to assist and direct passengers.
Stratford:
Passengers will follow specific routes to the Olympic Park and Westfield, depending on the time of the day.
This station will be very busy throughout the Games, in particular from Friday 3 to Friday 10 August.
Stratford International:
Passengers will follow specific routes to the Olympic Park and Westfield, depending on the time of the day.
This station will be very busy throughout the Games, in particular from Friday 3 to Friday 10 August.
Stratford High Street:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
West Ham:
Expected to be particularly busy from Friday 3 August to Friday 10 August. Queues are expected.
Olympic Park passengers should stay on board to Stratford International.
Canning Town:
This station is due to be exceptionally busy on all days of the London 2012 Games. Queues are expected.
Avoid interchanging at this station if possible.
Custom House for ExCel:
Alighting only for all passengers.
No entry from ExCeL or from the street; passengers must use Prince Regent.
Staff will be in operation to assist and direct passengers.
Prince Regent:
Boarding only
No entry into ExCeL; passengers must use Custom House for ExCeL for entry into the venue and exit onto the street. Staff will be in operation to assist and direct passengers.
West Silverton:
Alighting only for London 2012 Games passengers.
No entry from ExCeL or from the street; passengers must use use Pontoon Dock and Prince Regent.
Staff will be in operation to assist and direct passengers.
Pontoon Dock:
Boarding only for London 2012 Games passengers.
No entry into ExCel; passengers must use West Silvertown for entry into the venue. Staff will be in operation to assist and direct passengers.
London City Airport:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist passengers.
Canary Wharf:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
At peak times, doors from the concourse to the shopping centre may be closed.
Heron Quays:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
Evening peaks, the northbound platform will be exit only and northbound passengers will need to use Canary Wharf at these times.
South Quay:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
Island Gardens:
Station will operate as usual but with additional staff to assist and direct passengers.
Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich:
Station closure; Sat 28-31 July & Thu 2-9 August (07.00-20.00) Sat 11-12 August (12.00-end of service).
Staff will be in operation to assist and direct passengers.
Greenwich:
Entry via the subway end of the station.
Southbound platform exit only (afternoons/evenings) & passengers will be routed along Waller Way to Greenwich High Road.
All other times, access to station via Greenwich High Road & Waller Way.
Northbound passengers enter station via Tarves Way.
Lewisham:
Services will run at a 5 minute frequency.
Passenger number increase, due to avoiding London Bridge.
Staff will be in operation to assist and direct passengers.
